Beyond the Beach: A Private Sea Turtle Conservation Experience

Enjoy an evening of conversation with fellow Harvard alumni and guests in a beautiful waterfront setting with light bites and libations before the program begins. For added comfort, guests are welcome to bring chairs.
8:00 – 8:45 PM: Private Conservation Presentation
Go behind the scenes with the NSU Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program and learn how dedicated scientists and conservationists work year-round to protect threatened and endangered sea turtles along Broward County's 24 miles of nesting beaches.
More than an educational presentation, this is an opportunity to discover how one of South Florida's most important conservation efforts is making a difference right here in our own backyard. Best of all, by attending, you're already helping. A majority of the proceeds from this event directly benefit the NSU Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program, supporting its mission to monitor, protect, and conserve sea turtles throughout Broward County.
Following the presentation, we'll caravan to Hollywood North Beach Park for the evening's unforgettable finale - a privately guided sea turtle hatchling release. Witness endangered hatchlings begin their remarkable journey to the Atlantic Ocean under the guidance of the conservation team entrusted with their protection.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

No cameras, flash photography, white lights, or video equipment are permitted during the hatchling release.

Red LED lighting will be used by conservation staff to ensure the safety of the hatchlings while allowing guests to observe this extraordinary experience.

There is no seating provided at the waterfront reception; guests are welcome to bring their own chairs for comfort.

Chairs are not permitted on the beach during the hatchling release.

Tickets are considered charitable donations to the NSU Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program and are non-refundable.

Pre-registration is required. No walk-ins will be permitted.
