7:00 pm Presentation

Join us for a conversation with Ben Gordon on how supply chains really work—and how they’re changing right now. Ben will briefly trace a few major turning points, from the transcontinental railroad, to the shipping container, to the rise of Amazon, and now AI. He’ll share a few concrete examples of how companies are already using technology to operate faster and more efficiently, and what that means in practice. The discussion will also explore how trade is shifting closer to home, including the growing role of Mexico and Central America, and what that means for South Florida. We’ll close with what’s likely to happen next - and why it matters for everyday business and life.
