The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headline the Air Dot Show Fort Lauderdale, commemorating the USA’s 250th Birthday — and this year also features the thrilling F-22 Raptor Demo.
If the Air Show were a concert, the Thunderbirds would be the headliners. The elite team flies six F-16 Fighting Falcons, performing breathtaking quartet and duo maneuvers — loops, rolls, and precision formations with just four feet separating aircraft. At times they fly directly toward one another at speeds approaching 1,000 miles per hour, breaking away at the last possible second. Seeing it from 15 stories up, at eye level, is nothing short of extraordinary.
