Join fellow alumni, friends, and family for a magical, one-of-a-kind evening as we gather for a private sea turtle hatchling release under the stars. Watch endangered baby sea turtles take their first steps toward the ocean — and directly support the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program at NSU with your attendance!
7:30 PM - Arrive for a relaxed, family-friendly reception with light bites and libations
8:00 PM - Enjoy a private 45-minute educational presenttion from NSU experts on sea turtle conservation, the challenges that sea turtles face, and the inspiring work happening locally to protect them
The...we caravan to Hollywood North Beach Park for the main event - a live, guided hatchling release on the beach!
IMPORTANT NOTE: No cameras, lights, or video equipment permitted during the release — red LED lights will be used by staff for safe observation. The beach is naturally illuminated, and you’ll still have a wonderful view.
