Join the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health for the third installment in their Environments for Health and Happiness Seminar Series, featuring Dr. Gaurab Basu. In this event, titled “Responding to Climate Change – Challenges and Opportunities for Mental Health and Well-Being“, Dr. Basu will explore the mechanisms by which climate change impacts the mental health and well-being of our communities, and challenge the audience to explore the ways in which climate solutions can enable the deeper work of creating well-being.
Speaker Information:
Gaurab Basu, MD, MPH is a primary care physician and Director of Education and Policy at Harvard Chan C-CHANGE. He is also Assistant Professor of Environmental Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Assistant Professor of Medicine and Global Health & Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His work focuses on the intersection of climate change, global health equity, human rights, medical education, and public policy. He practices internal medicine at Cambridge Health Alliance.
