YOUR HARVARD: MIAMI

February 16, 2017
Faena Forum | 3300 Collins Avenue | Miami Beach, Florida
Registration begins at 6:30 p.m.

Join us at Your Harvard: Miami for a festive celebration featuring a special opportunity to hear President Drew Gilpin Faust share her vision for Harvard's future and its impact in the world, and a thought-provoking faculty discussion that will examine the power of observation and the relationship between matter, interpretation, and understanding.

Joining us for this conversation will be Hopi Hoekstra, Alexander Agassiz Professor of Zoology and Curator of Mammals in the Museum of Comparative Zoology, and Jennifer Roberts, Elizabeth Cary Agassiz Professor of the Humanities. Facilitated by acclaimed author, television writer, and producer Susan Fales-Hill AB '84, Hoekstra and Roberts will explore what reconstructing the past can tell us about our future, from seeing things before unseen to new technologies that make it possible to consider eradicating or altering the course of disease, and other advances that would benefit the natural world and humankind.

We hope to see you there!
